Are you playing Fortnite for the first time? If yes, then you need to know how not to be a noob. If you don’t know what a noob is, a noob is someone playing Fortnite for the first time. It’s short for noobie—a new player.
It’s important to know how not to be a noob because if someone knows you’re a noob, they kill you quickly. And that’s not fun so I’m going to tell you four tips on how not to be a noob.
Tip # 1
The first tip is to buy a new skin. A skin is an outfit that changes the player’s appearance. There are some really cool and exclusive ones that can be expensive but you can still get a cool one for cheap. One that I recommend for guys goes for 800 VBucks and is called Chaos Explorer. For girls Nog Ops is a good one for the same price.
Noobs come with a default skin that everyone can tell you’re a noob. When wearing the noob skin, more advanced players will see you and will want to kill you. Don’t let this happen—buy a new skin.
Tip #2
The second tip is to buy a bundle. Bundles are a pack of skins with a collection of accessories like gliders and backpacks that noobs don’t have. Just a head’s up… they are pretty expensive! The latest bundle is Mechagodzilla and Kong which goes for 2,800 VBucks ($22.99 USD plus tax)
Tip #3
The third tip is to buy dance moves called emotes. Noobs come with only one dance move and when they dance, everyone knows they’re a noob. Dance moves are what make Fortnite super fun. You even get to dance with friends too!
My favorite dance moves are the icon emotes. These are the emotes that are created after celebrities and they play their most popular songs with them.
Tip #4
The fourth tip is to go into your settings and turn on autofire. When you first play Fortnite, you probably won’t be so good at aiming and shooting players. To help with that, auto-fire can be your best friend. This setting shoots for you when you aim in the direction of a player.
How to find the auto-fire setting:
Open the Settings menu
Go to the Third Settings Tab
Find the Auto-fire setting and turn it on
Happy Playing
Getting killed quickly when you first start a new game is horrible and no fun. When I started and was killed every time I entered the game, I felt angry and I almost wanted to smash my game. I wrote this post because I don’t want you to go through the same thing I went through. Follow my tips and you’ll be a happier noob than I was! Happy Gaming and maybe I’ll see you online!
Keep up the good work, Lucas! Cure the world of the noobs!!
You’re so inspiring, Lucas! I loved writing when I was a kid but I had a few teachers tell me I was horrible and I believed them so I stopped. You’re so brave to decide to write even though you haven’t enjoyed it. Even though, people have probably told you that your writing is wrong.
I hope you’ll keep sharing your thoughts, ideas, stories, and tips… they matter and they’re perfect exactly the way you write them.
I don’t play these kinds of games (I’m old and uncool like that) but I’m going to restack this for all of my subscribers who are starting!
